Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is now a hub for PSA Airlines.

The Dayton, Ohio-based company—a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Airlines—opened a location on March 2 to help attract more pilots during an industrywide shortage, according to a press release.

The hub will look to hire up to 30 captains and 30 first officers, according to the company. The company is offering the following incentives through June:
  • Direct entry captains with over 950 flight hours will receive a $100,000 sign-on bonus, and pay will start at $146 per hour.
  • Experienced first officers with over 500 flight hours will receive a $75,000 sign-on bonus, and pay will start at $90 per hour.
“We understand that this is a very competitive landscape; together with American, we’re investing in our team to provide the best environment for pilots to develop their careers," Dion Flannery, president and CEO of PSA Airlines, said in a press release. "Building a top team and developing a pipeline of the best aviation talent takes effort and a continuous investment. We're offering the total package."

There will be five airplanes based out of DFW with up to 20 daily departures.
