Heavy rainfall from severe thunderstorms May 8 has closed multiple low-water crossings across Colleyville due to flooding.
As of 3 p.m., the following Colleyville low-water crossings are closed:
- Bedford Road;
- Oak Knoll Drive;
- Cheshire Drive; and
- Jackson Road.
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning May 8 for Tarrant County. More thunderstorms will spread into North Texas during the evening May 10 and will continue through May 11, the weather service said in a news release. This will result primarily in heavy rain and could result in additional flooding. A few storms may also produce small hail.
