Grapevine to display flags on Main Street in recognition of Memorial Day
While construction work on Main Street has been making improvements on pedestrian signals and other signage, the city of Grapevine confirmed flag holders will still be put back in place to display the U.S. flag on Memorial Day.
Work at the intersection of Main Street and Dallas Road in downtown Grapevine resulted in the intersection’s closure starting at the end of March. This move was expected to allow crews to make pedestrian-friendly changes to the intersection more quickly.
City of Colleyville facilities closed
The city of Colleyville announced May 22 that city facilities will be closed May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. That includes all city offices, the Colleyville Public Library and the senior center.
Though these facilities will be closed, trash and recycling collections will continue as normal.
