Lead Pastor Ross Sawyers mentioned plans to open 121 Community Church-Keller during a Dec. 22 service.
Joseph Sanchez, the strategy and creative arts pastor, said the church purchased land in Keller earlier this year and will engage with the Keller community throughout 2025.
He said the plan is to open the new church in 2026 and the goal is to have the same impact in Keller as the church does in Grapevine.
“We’ve been integral life partners in Grapevine, in the community, the city, the schools and the under-served,” Sanchez said.
The backstory
The church was founded in 1999 in Colleyville and has been in Grapevine since 2006. It moved to its current location in 2017 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in September.
