121 Community Church celebrated its 25th anniversary Sept. 16.

To commemorate the milestone, Lead Pastor Ross Sawyers said the church members aided the community with a service week. More than 2,000 people helped with beautification projects on playgrounds and around schools in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.

He said there were also church members who volunteered for GrapeFest, which was held Sept. 12-15.

“It’s been a lot of fun to be able to serve,” Sawyers said.
