The Colleyville Public Works Department will host a meeting for the city's upcoming stormwater master plan Oct. 3. The city invites the public to attend and provide input.
A similar meeting was held earlier this year in January. This meeting will be similar in nature, as residents will be able to provide input on stormwater issues and concerns, according to a Colleyville news release. Input is encouraged regarding flooding, water quality, upcoming stormwater projects and maintenance.
"This is a meeting that is going to have significant input in the final stormwater master plan," City Council member George Dodson said at the Oct. 2 council meeting. "It is really key if you have issues with flooding."
The meeting will be held from 6-7 p.m. at the Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive, Colleyville. Anyone that cannot attend the meeting but would like to provide input should contact the Public Works Department, Dodson said. Their number is 817-503-1090.
