With all Dallas and Tarrant counties and 24 of 29 Denton County precincts reporting, Republican incumbent Kenny Marchant garnered 56.23 percent of the vote for the State Rep. District 33 seat. His opponents, Jan McDowell, Mike Kolls and Kevin McCormick trailed with 39.29, 3.12 and 1.36 of the votes, respectively.

Kenny Marchant continues to lead the race in Tarrant County with 65.45 percent of the vote with 39 of 95 precincts reporting. His opponents, McDowell, Kolis and McCormick, are trailing with 30.49, 2.92 and 1.14 percent of the votes, respectively.
Marchant is leading with 54.78 percent of the vote in Denton County and 49.46 percent in Dallas County. He is trailed by McDowell by 41.48 percent in Denton County and 46.42 percent in Dallas County.

After early voting results were released, incumbent Kenny Marchant, R-Carrollton, is leading the race against several opponents this year for U.S. District 24 Representative with 65.57 percent of the votes in Tarrant County and 54.59 percent in Denton County.
Challengers Jan McDowell, Mike Kolls, and Kevin McCormick are trailing with 30.58, 2.79 and 1.07 percent, respectively in Tarrant County and 41.78, 2.58 and 1.05 percent in Denton County.
