With all Tarrant County precincts reporting, Republican Jane Nelson wins the State Senate District 12 seat with 83.73 percent of the votes. Nelson also took 82.69 percent of the votes in Denton County, with 120 of 129 precincts reporting.

Libertarian candidate Rod Wingo garnered 16.27 percent of the votes in Tarrant County and 17.31 percent of the votes in Denton County.

Sen. Jane Nelson has garnered 84.38 percent of the vote with 48 of 96 precincts reporting. Her challenger, Rod Wingo, is trailing with 15.62 percent.

After early voting results were released, incumbent Jane Nelson, R-Flower Mound, is leading Libertarian opponent Rod Wingo for the State Senate District 12 seat by 85.15 percent of the vote in the Nov. 8 General Election.
