Owner Jeremy Berlin said Ferah is family-owned and -operated and offers Mediterranean food to those with a Texan palate. Appetizers include a falafel tower and fried goat cheese. Ferah also offers meals such as the Ferah Burger with wild mushroom, caramelized onion, goat cheese and pesto aioli on a brioche bun as well as a gyro taco with tzatziki sauce and a falafel taco. The dessert menu features baklava, pomegranate parfait cheesecake and Turkish coffee creme brulee.
Berlin said the restaurant has “true authentic Mediterranean” twisted with “Texan flavor profiles.” Berlin said the mixing of the cuisines works because people “want to eat healthier and have authentic food.”
“We’re going to be a bridge to authentic Mediterranean, but we’re going to make it feel like home,” Berlin said.
Later this summer, Berlin said the restaurant will offer brunch and a reservation-only chef bar on Fridays and Saturdays where patrons can be served directly by chefs.
