Eye Level is an after-school math and English tutoring center for students ages 4-15. The Colleyville location is one of over 150 Eye Level Learning Centers across the U.S.
The center is unique in that it offers instruction in both academic and critical thinking mathematics, owner and center director Jenny Karthik said. English programs include lessons in reading, writing, reading comprehension and grammar.
Karthik said the tutoring center does not instruct based on the students' grade level, but rather their academic IQ level.
“It is not just [about teaching] math or English blindly,” Karthik said. “It is about involving the child, making the child interested in their learning and making it fun. We do a lot of things to motivate our kids so they look forward to coming to our center.”
While the center is already open and enrolling students, Eye Level Colleyville will be hosting a grand opening event at the beginning of August to kick off the back-to-school season, Karthik said. 469-686-3933. www.myeyelevel.com/US/center/colleyville
