Community Impact Newspaper, which has 26 papers across Texas and Arizona, relies solely on local advertising for funding.
As a privately owned company, our founders, John and Jennifer Garrett, believe in the value of local journalism and local advertising.
Advertising within
Community Impact Newspaper not only allows us to produce quality content, but it also allows us to maintain a solid team of five—a general manager, an account executive, a designer, an editor and a reporter—and provide hyperlocal news for free in Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake. That said, each article we write is independent from our advertisers.
Each paper we produce is 50 percent editorial content and 50 percent advertising. This ratio helps us maintain quality reporting and news with a good balance of advertisement.
