It will offer outpatient surgical procedures, according to Matt Olivolo, Baylor Scott & White Health marketing and public relations consultant.
“With more than 17,000 square feet of space available in the surgery center, there is the potential to add additional operating rooms over time to respond to the community’s needs,” Olivolo said in a statement.
The center will have four operating rooms.
Patients will have access to procedures in a number of different specialties, including ear, nose and throat, gastrointestinal, gynecology, ophthalmic, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, spine and urology.
