The cost for water supply, wastewater treatment services, and water and wastewater operational services will remain the same for Trophy Club residents.

During a Feb. 10 meeting, the Trophy Club Town Council approved an ordinance for the Public Improvement District surcharge for the 2025 calendar year from the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1.

The details

The PID residents share in the municipal utility district No. 1 was $144,223, which is $99.24 per household for the 1,444 residents.

With a further breakdown of $8.27 per month, it is unchanged from 2024, according to city documents.

The background

According to city documents, the PID boundaries included all areas of Trophy Club effective Jan. 1. Due to that, residents will no longer receive a PID surcharge on the billing period starting Oct. 1. The current fiscal year ends Sept. 30.

In the future, PID residents will pay for the services through the district property tax, similar to how residents within the municipal utility district had, according to city documents.
