Colleyville City Council approved three items to maintain city roads during the Oct. 15 meeting.

The overview

The projects will be for fiscal year 2025 and include:
  • Miscellaneous concrete repair in an amount not to exceed $682,843.88
  • Tree trimming contract in an amount not to exceed $75,000
  • Miscellaneous pavement marking construction services in an amount not to exceed $150,000
All three contracts are being renewed and will come out of the Capital Projects fund, according to city documents.

The details

The concrete repairs will be performed “as needed” by Alderink Enterprises. This is its second contract renewal, which can be renewed for up to four years, according to city documents. The company's work includes repairing sidewalk, street panel and ramp replacements, according to city documents.


The Lawn Firm will be responsible for trimming trees and removing branches that are blocking roads and to remove and replace trees along creeks and arterial roads, per city documents. This will be the first of four contract renewals for the company's services.

The contract with Stripe-A-Zone will be renewed for the third year out of four. Stripe-A-Zone will rehabilitate existing pavement markings throughout the street system, such as lane lines, railroad crossings, crosswalks, school zones and city-owned parking facilities, according to city documents.

The business has performed pavement marking services for Colleyville since 2013.
