Colleyville’s city facilities will be closed during the Thanksgiving holiday.

What you need to know

City offices, including the Colleyville Public Library, will be closed Nov. 23-24. Public safety staff will remain on duty, according to an announcement from the city.

Colleyville residents can also expect changes to their trash and recycling pickup days over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day. Normal Thursday collection will move to Nov. 24, while normal Friday collection will shift to Nov. 25.


All trash and recyclable items must be put out no later than 7 a.m. Residents can report a missed trash pickup by contacting Community Waste Disposal at 972-392-9300.

Colleyville’s seasonal leaf collection begins Nov. 18 and runs through Jan. 6. Community Waste Disposal will pick up Colleyville residents’ bagged leaves on the following Saturdays:

  • Dec. 2
  • Dec. 9
  • Dec. 16
  • Dec. 23
  • Jan. 6
Collection begins at 8 a.m. Residents must place leaf bags separately from household trash if the bags are set out before Saturday collection.
