Community Waste Disposal will begin picking up Colleyville residents’ bagged leaves Nov. 18

What’s happening

Colleyville’s seasonal leaf collection begins Nov. 18 and runs through Jan. 6, according to an announcement from the city. Community Waste Disposal will run special collection routes on select Saturdays to recycle bagged leaves.

Collection begins at 8 a.m. Residents must set the leaves out on these designated collection days:
  • Nov. 18
  • Dec. 2
  • Dec. 9
  • Dec. 16
  • Dec. 23
  • Jan. 6
Paper lawn craft bags or plastic bags are acceptable for storing leaves. Residents must place leaf bags separately from household trash if the bags are set out before Saturday collection.

What else?

Community Waste Disposal will also pick up and recycle Christmas trees Jan. 6. Residents are advised against enclosing the tree in a plastic sack or bag and must remove all tinsel, stands and tree decorations.
