A second rabid animal was identified in Grapevine within a month, according to a Grapevine Police Department news release.

An ill-appearing skunk was located near Dove Road and Tumbleweed Trail on Sept. 21, per the news release, and later tested positive for the rabies virus. Individuals who believe they or their pets may have been exposed to the virus should contact Grapevine Animal Services and seek medical care.

A vaccine clinic is scheduled from 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 28 at Grapevine Animal Services, which is located at 500 Shady Brook Drive.
