The city of Southlake approved at an April 19 meeting an agreement with Peloton Land Solutions to improve the sanitary sewer system between Eagle Bend Drive and Strathmore Drive.
The project will include “reconstructing a segment of the S-5 sanitary sewer main ... to eliminate ongoing maintenance issues within the service area,” according to city documents.
According to the document, the segment does not meet the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality-required minimum pipe slope, making it “subject to blockage, which could in turn lead to sanitary sewer overflows if not frequently flushed out by city personnel.”
The project will be funded by the city and is not to exceed $145,000, according to city documents. The project does not yet have a start date.
