1. Tour the new stadium in Grapevine
Grapevine-Colleyville ISD hosts an event to unveil the newly renovated Mustang Panther Stadium. After the grand opening ceremony, guests can tours the stadium. Guests can also attend and view the boys’ and girls’ soccer games following the event. The ribbon-cutting ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. The boys’ soccer game begins at 6:30 p.m., and the girls’ soccer game begins at 8 p.m. Free. Mustang Panther Stadium, 3051 Ira E. 2. Attend a theater production in Grapevine
It is opening weekend for Runway Theatre’s production of “The Dixie Swim Club.” The plot revolves around five Southern women whose friendship began with their college swim team. 3. Take the kids to “Touch-A-Truck” in Grapevine
Children can get an up close look at a fire truck, police car, school bus and recycling truck at this event. 4. Celebrate diversity in Southlake
Celebrate Southlake features a community dinner and showcases cultural traditions from different regions of the world.
