For the third consecutive year, local artist Joshua Ingram will play a free concert in Grapevine to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

The 12-hour concert called ALZ the Songs will be held in the Peace Plaza near Grapevine Main Station. According to a news release, Ingram started the concert as part of a challenge to see how many songs he could play from memory without repeating.

Ingram plays the concert as part of The Longest Day, which allows individuals around the world to fight Alzheimer’s disease through a fundraising activity of their choice, per the news release. Individuals are also able to donate online or at the concert.

“I believe in a world without Alzheimer's and I believe the fundraising helps the research get us closer to that every day," Ingram said in the release.
