Screenwriter and photographer Bill Wittliff will display more than 50 photos taken during the 1989 filming of the miniseries “Lonesome Dove,” filmed in various areas of Texas and New Mexico. The traveling exhibit is part of the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University in San Marcos. A free reception that is open to the public will be held Sunday, July 23 from 4-6 p.m. and will feature a presentation from Mike Wise, an associate professor of history at the University of North Texas.July 18, 25 and Aug. 1: Play music bingo
