Colleyville will host its Clean Sweep where residents can clean a portion of the city or drop off hazardous materials. Clean-up volunteers will receive vests and trash grabbers on the south grounds of City Hall and clean assigned locations. Residents can drop materials including tires and fire extinguishers; documents; bulk trash and brush; electronics, appliances and other items with a battery or plug-in; and hazardous materials such as paint, used motor oil and household chemicals.

Grapevine Public Library is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Mayor William D. Tate will share his memories of the library followed by a book signing of his memoir. Attendees can also expect technology demonstrations, a harp concert, and a variety of children’s activities and entertainment including a magic show, balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos.

Head to Grapevine’s Main Street to celebrate Texas Independence Day and the 200th anniversary of the Texas Rangers Law Enforcement Agency. Attendees can expect the Texas Rangers’ traveling road show exhibition and an address from Mayor William D. Tate.
