The Southlake Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Oktoberfest at Southlake Town Square this past weekend, Oct. 15-17.
The 20th anniversary of the festival took place after the COVID-19 pandemic caused its cancellation in 2020. The weekend saw such activities as costume contests, a stein hoisting contest and the annual wiener dog race. Live entertainment featured headlining band The Molly Ringwalds, as well as other performers throughout the weekend.
Arts and crafts booths from local vendors were open throughout the event and organizers anticipated around 100,000 attendees, though an official attendance count is not yet available.
