Reece held on to her 10 percentage point lead over Martindale, with 3,513 votes against Martindale's 2,828, with 23 out of 215 vote centers reporting. 55.40% of voters voted for Reece, while 44.60% voted for Martindale, according to Tarrant County election results.

Early Tarrant County election results show Miranda "Mandy" Reece currently leads Scott Martindale in the special election for Place 3 on the Carroll ISD’s board of trustees, with 3,297 votes, roughly 55% to Martindale's 2,677 votes.
