With no other candidates filing by the 5 p.m. deadline on Feb. 14, the incumbent mayor and council members in Places 1 and 2 will take up their positions again for the next three years.
Bobby Lindamood will retain his spot as Colleyville mayor. He was elected to the position in 2022 after serving as mayor pro tem for six years.
Place 1 for mayor pro tem will be retained by Brandi Elder, who was first elected in 2022.
The Place 2 seat will be filled by Mark Alphonso, who was voted in June to replace George Bond.
What else?
The election will occur May 3 and residents can vote at the Colleyville Recreation Center Annex A located at 5008 Roberts Road.
Also on the ballot is a special election for a $20 million bond to expand the recreation center.
The next local election for Colleyville will be for Place 3 and Place 4 in May 2026.
