With all precincts reporting, unofficial results from Tarrant County show Patrick Moses has won in the March 5 primary race against opponent Indya Murray.
Moses has about 54.69% of the vote, or 33,726 votes, in the race for Tarrant County sheriff, while Murray drew 27,942 votes, or 45.31%.
Moses could not be immediately reached for comment. He will run against unopposed Republican candidate and incumbent Bill Waybourn in November.

Unofficial results from Tarrant County show Patrick Moses maintains the lead in the Democratic race for Tarrant County sheriff in the March 5 primary election.
Moses has 58.06%, or 21,782 votes cast, while challenger Indya Morris received 41.94%, or 15,734 votes cast.
The winner of the Democratic primary will run against unopposed Republican candidate and incumbent Bill Waybourn in November.

With early voting results in for the March 5 Democratic primary election for the Tarrant County sheriff seat, Patrick Moses is taking the lead with 16,601 votes, of 57.26%, while Indya Murray trails with 12,391 votes, or 42.74% of the votes.
What you need to know
Incumbent and Republican Sheriff Bill Waybourn drew no challengers from his party, but the two Democrats, Moses and Murray, are campaigning for a chance to run against him in November.

Totals from ballots cast March 5 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
