According to a district news release, the new program will launch in time for the 2025-26 school year. Located on all elementary campuses, Dragon U will be open Monday-Friday until 5:30 p.m. and includes the following:
- Daily snacks
- Homework help
- Arts and games
What you need to know
The news release states interest forms are open online and parents or guardians need to fill out a form to reserve a spot for their student. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis and a waitlist will be created once capacity is reached.
Other details include:
- Tuition: $410/month (residents), $260/month (employees)
- $100 registration/supply fee (non-refundable)
- 1:22 staff-to-student ratio
