According to a district Facebook post, by having a Gold Card, GCISD residents 65 years and older are able to attend the following GCISD home events hosted by the district for free:
- Athletic events (excluding playoffs)
- Theatrical productions
- Musical events
The Facebook post states the information session is scheduled for Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. at the GCISD Administration Building, 3051 Ira E. Woods Ave., Grapevine.
The Facebook post states attendees should make plans to arrive 10 minutes early to check in with the front desk. Attendees will also need to bring a state-issued driver's license or ID.
