Grapevine-Colleyville ISD adopts 2021-22 instructional calendar

The 2021-22 school year will begin Aug. 18 for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD students.

The district’s board of trustees voted Jan. 21 to adopt the 2021-22 instructional calendar, which will end the 2021-22 school year with an early release day May 26.


Highlights of the calendar include the following.

  • The first day of school will be Aug. 18.

  • Thanksgiving break will run Nov. 22-26.

  • Winter break will start Dec. 20, 2021, and end Jan. 4, 2022.

  • Spring break will run March 14-18.

  • High school graduation will be held the last day of the year, May 26.
