Major GCISD bond projects to be completed in 2018


What we reported

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD contractors are working through several large bond projects. Those include additions and renovations at three schools—Heritage Middle School, Grapevine Middle School and Timberline Elementary School—as well as construction of the two new multipurpose activity centers at their respective high schools and the rebuilding of Cannon Elementary School. Work is also being done at Mustang-Panther Stadium.

The latest

In 2017, Timberline Elementary School, Grapevine Middle School and Heritage Middle School received a controlled entrance as an added security measure and a renovated learning commons, previously referred to as the library. The cafeteria was also expanded at Heritage Middle School.

What’s next

The new Cannon Elementary School and two multipurpose activity centers will be completed in 2018. There will also be classroom additions at Grapevine Middle School and Timberline Elementary School and renovations to the animal science center at Grapevine High School. In 2019 the district will add new furniture to campuses.
