Multifamily development company JPI broke ground earlier this month on Jefferson Silverlake, located at 1775 Hwy. 26, Grapevine.

The project entails a luxury multifamily development featuring a home community with 371 apartments. The new development will be in proximity to the U.S. headquarters for Kubota Tractor and the future TEXRail Grapevine Main Street station.

“The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD public school system and its 11 National Blue Ribbon Schools are a great draw for anybody moving to the area,” Brad Taylor, JPI’s chief development officer and national managing partner, said in a statement. “Add that to the proximity and easy commutes to work, and we predict great success for this submarket and development.”

First occupancy for the development is slated for the third quarter of 2019. Officials said the site boasts a "true mixed-use development, adjacent to luxury hotels as well as planned retail and office spaces. The project will also feature proximity to a trail system, concierge service, a resort-style swimming pool, a fitness and yoga center and designer appliance packages in the apartments.
