State Rep. Giovanni Capriglione of Southlake files for re-election


On Nov. 11 District 98 State Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake, officially filed for
re-election. He has held the position since January of 2013.

“Serving District 98 in the Texas House of Representatives has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Capriglione said in a statement. “If re-elected, I promise to continue to fight for limited and efficient government while working tirelessly to ensure the voices of those living in House District 98 are heard.”

A news release said key issues on which Capriglione has worked to pass legislation include government transparency, cybersecurity, protection of life, border security, education reform and economic development.

The primary election takes place March 6, 2018.
