Hooters off Crossroads Drive in Grapevine is now closed and a sign on the door encourages patrons to visit locations in Arlington or North Richland Hills. Another sign read, “We are so sad about the closure of this location.”

What's happening?

The sports bar and grill served chicken wings, shrimp, burgers and beer, according to its website.

According to online documents, Hooters filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March.

Red Robin, California Pizza Kitchen and Buffalo Wild Wings are vacated eateries in the area, though Buffalo Wild Wings moved to a new spot in April 2024. Active restaurants that were close to Hooters include Pluckers, The Original Pancake House, Rowdy Cowboy and Freebirds.

Two former restaurants off Crossroads Drive, TGI Fridays and Outback Steakhouse, were torn down to make way for a Hampton Inn. The start time of the construction for the hotel has not been disclosed.
