Cicis Pizza is returning to Grapevine.

Commercial company Weitzman listed the pizza restaurant as coming soon at the Grapevine Towne Center shopping center and signs are up, as well.

The details

The filing was made with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Nov. 14 for the pizza restaurant.

The document lists Tony Bowen as the tenant. According to LinkedIn, he’s the vice president of development for Cicis Pizza.

A start date for renovations is Dec. 9 with a completion date of March 30. The estimated cost for the 4,200-square-foot building renovation is $350,000, according to the filing document.

The backstory

Originally founded in Irving in 1983, Cicis Pizza offers guests a buffet-style eating experience with deep dish, traditional and flatbread pizzas to choose from, according to a news release.

The restaurant also serves various pastas, salad options, chicken wings as well as desserts such as brownies, dessert pizzas and cinnamon rolls.

Grapevine previously had a Cicis until 2015 on Northwest Highway, which is now Salon Centric. The new location most recently was a T-Mobile store.
