Rowdy Cowboy, a country-themed sports restaurant and bar, is set to open later this month.

The restaurant posted its opening date of July 26 on its sign that faces SH 121, while also posting that information on billboards along SH 114.

Kevin Richardson, a partner in the new business, said the sports bar and restaurant will have 64 televisions and there will be 32 beers on tap.

The custom bar is handmade and laser engraving was done with the company's logo. The bar stools will incorporate cowhide to provide a modernized "country-Western feeling," according to general manager Julie Smith said.

The menu hasn’t been posted online, but the "Texas-style cooking" from the staff will feature made-from scratch items, such as:
  • Trashcan nachos with burnt ends
  • Barbecued ribs
  • 16-ounce ribeye steak
  • Smoked wings
  • Hamburgers
  • Pork chops
  • Redfish
  • Croissants beignets

The restaurant and sports bar is taking over a space previously occupied by D'Ambrosio's Pizza Pub, which closed in January 2021.
