Portillo’s will open a new restaurant in Grapevine this year which the company describes as being one of the brand’s first “Restaurant of the Future” designs.

The 6,200-square-foot building will have a rustic Southwest garage theme. This will be a smaller-footprint building than existing Portillo’s and will have seating for about 125 guests inside and nearly 40 guests on an outdoor patio. There will also be a double drive-thru lane.

Portillo’s menu includes popular items like Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers and Portillo’s chocolate cake.
