Volstead: Prohibition Era Bar + Kitchen opened June 20 in Southlake

Volstead is a full-service restaurant and bar open seven days a week for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late night cocktails.

The establishment is owned by Dave Coussirat, president of Restaurant Ventures Unlimited. The Tavern at Lakeside and Tycoon, both Flower Mound establishments, are also operated by Restaurant Ventures Unlimited.

“Our smaller, quaint space will allow our guests to feel like they're visiting a private club or speakeasy from the Prohibition-era,” Coussirat said in an email. “We like the proximity to 114 so it's easy for guests to access the restaurant. [We also have] very accessible parking.”
