The Denton-based company moved into the former location of Buzzed Bull Creamery.
Beth Marie’s has locations in Denton, Corinth and Carrollton, and the ice cream is produced in Denton, Willis said. He said the factory can make 50 pounds of ice cream every 15 minutes. According to the website, the ice cream is classified as premium quality because it contains 14% butterfat. The website said there are more than 150 flavors of ice cream and the menu changes seasonally, ranging from 48 to 64 flavors at each location.
Beth Marie’s pints can be found in Central Market stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Willis said there are 10 licensees across the state. He’s been part of the ownership group since 2003, buying it from the original owners Dr. Randy Cox and his wife, Beth—the namesake of the business.
