Crush It Sports Lounge is expanding its footprint in Grapevine.

City Council approved a conditional-use permit in March 2023, and owner Mike Speets said the project should be done this spring.

The business serves food and drinks along with gaming options. Speets calls it an "eatertainment location" for social gatherings and a place for gamers.

The expansion will add 3,800 square feet to the former El Fenix restaurant. Speets said there be a hallway to connect the new additions to the front of the building, which features a variety of arcade games, multisport simulator bays and pool tables.

Speets said the addition will have six 20-foot-long duckpin bowling lanes, a spot for an interactive dart game made by Sega and additional arcade games. The addition will also feature roll-up doors for patio seating as well.

Crush It Sports opened in 2020 but had to delay the planned grand opening that year due to COVID-19 regulations, Speets said.
