1. Scooter’s Coffee opened April 17 at 897 W. Northwest Highway in Grapevine. The Nebraska-based coffee chain serves hot and cold drinks including the Turtle Latte, made with caramel chocolate and hazelnut, and the Candy Bar Latte that creates a replica of favorite candy bars, according to its website. 2. Tous les Jours opened March 17 and offers more than 300 artisan pastries, cakes and desserts in its Colleyville location at 5611 Colleyville Blvd., Ste. 120. Owned and operated by local resident David Choi, the bakery offers sweet and savory baked goods, coffee and other beverages. 3. Kung Fu Tea held its grand opening Feb. 17 in Southlake at 2175 E. Southlake Blvd. Ste. 130. The international beverage chain offers several drinks including classic tea, milk tea, punch and espresso drinks. Yogurt drinks are made with Yakult yogurt paired with fresh-squeezed juices, according to its website. 4. Gigi’s Cupcakes reopened in a new location at 2364 E. Hwy. 114, Ste. 114, in Southlake on Jan. 11. The store offers a variety of sweets, such as cookies, brownies, macarons and more notably cupcakes. Cupcake flavors include salted caramel, cookies and cream, lemon dream, strawberry shortcake, wedding cake, and more, according to the store’s menu.
