Grapevine City Council unanimously approved a zoning change to the existing Chipotle at 2225 E. Grapevine Mills Circle to create a drive-thru lane at its Dec. 20 meeting. Planning Services Director Erica Marohnic said the drive-thru will be for advance orders only.
Diana Steelquist, WD Partners representative for Chipotle, said the addition of the lane and pickup window will change the traffic pattern on the southwest side of the restaurant to one way. She said to use the window, customers must order online or through Chipotle’s mobile app.
“It’s a great convenience to our customers,” Steelquist said.
In addition to the exterior lane, she said the restaurant will be remodeled in the interior with new furnishings and restaurant equipment.
