Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza to bring artisanal pizza on Grapevine’s Main Street

Artisanal pizza and fresh burrata will soon be served on Grapevine’s Main Street.

A conditional-use permit for Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza was approved in a joint meeting with Grapevine City Council and the Grapevine Planning and Zoning Commission on Nov. 15. The restaurant will be at 129 S. Main St., Ste. 155, where Cotton Patch Cafe was previously located.

Karen Blevins, from Core States Group and the project manager for Mister O1, said the restaurant’s name comes from its founder Renato Viola, who was raised in Southern Italy. When Viola moved to the United States, Blevins said he received the O-1 visa, which is reserved for those with extraordinary artistic ability or achievement.

She said the majority of the restaurant’s ingredients are shipped from Italy with the restaurant’s burrata cheese made in-house in Florida.

Mister O1 has 14 locations globally in Florida, Spain and Saudi Arabia. The restaurant chain recently opened its first Texas location in Dallas on Oak Lawn Avenue.

The restaurant offers traditional and specialty pizza, burrata plates and salads. Its pizzas are made in a thin-crust style with dough that has rested for a minimum of 72 hours, its website stated. www.mistero1.com
