Collin County clears COVID-19 vaccine waitlist, will allow patients to make appointments March 12


Collin County Judge Chris Hill announced March 11 that the county has completed its COVID-19 vaccine waitlist and that it would be opening its vaccine appointment portal March 12 to eligible patients.

Go! Go! Curry! recently signed a lease at 8240 Preston Road, Plano, and expects to open in early July. The restaurant serves a Japanese-style brown curry originating from the city of Kanazawa that is considered the nation’s comfort food, according to a company representative.

After Hours Urgent & Complete Dentistry to open new Plano location

After Hours Urgent & Complete Dentistry is expected to open a location at 3937 N. Central Expressway, Plano, in mid-May. The dental office will be open in the evenings and will provide various services, such as tooth extraction, broken-tooth repair, crowns and caps, denture repairs, replacement teeth and wisdom tooth extractions.

Vetsavers Pet Hospital opens just south of Plano border in Dallas

Vetsavers Pet Hospital opened at the end of November just south of Plano’s border at 19009 Preston Road, Ste. 100, Dallas. The low-cost, high-quality veterinarian hospital is open seven days a week and offers various services for cats and dogs, including vaccines and preventive medicine, surgical care, medical and dental services, parasite prevention and more.

Chipotle coming soon to Golden Triangle Boulevard in north Fort Worth

Chipotle Mexican Grill is in the early stages of opening a new Fort Worth location at 5252 Golden Triangle Blvd., Fort Worth. The restaurant is expected to be completed in the summer or fall of 2021. A fast-casual restaurant chain, Chipotle is known for its build-your-own burritos and bowls, and locations offer in-app ordering.

Lewisville-Flower Mound-Highland Village

Lewisville's London Baker to open second luxury cake shop at The Realm at Castle Hills

The London Baker is expected to open its second location later this year at The Realm at Castle Hills, located at 4440 State Highway 121, Ste. 60, Lewisville. An opening timeline was not available, but in state construction filings, the business said the effort to finish out the interior could last through the end of May.
