Hotel Vin set to expand in Grapevine with Hotel Vin Reserve


Hotel Vin has plans to grow its footprint in Grapevine. Part of the Marriott Autograph Collection Hotels, Hotel Vin will break ground in late 2025 on Hotel Vin Reserve, according to an Instagram post. The hotel addition will include a pool, rooms and event spaces.

Grapevine City Council denies plans for Burger King, office building

Plans for a Burger King restaurant and an office building behind it were denied during a joint Grapevine City Council and Grapevine Planning and Zoning Commission meeting April 15.


Both boards voted 7-0 on the denial.

Trophy Club council approves new football stadium, other renovations at Byron Nelson High School

A new high school football stadium at Byron Nelson High School will start construction this summer.


During the Trophy Club Town Council April 28 meeting, an amendment to planned development district No. 28—the high school—was approved for building additions. The work will include the construction of the new 7,500-seat football stadium, which will be ready for the 2027-28 school year.

Southlake approves revised plan for mixed-use development with Dakota's Steakhouse

A mixed-use development anchored by Dakota’s Steakhouse in Southlake was amended during the June 3 City Council meeting.


The changes proposed by owner Timothy McEneny dealt with a number of retail buildings, the size of the restaurant, parking and tree preservation.

Colleyville takes first step for luxury resort-style hotel on SH 26

Plans for a new resort-style hotel in Colleyville are underway after the City Council approved the initial agreement with the developer June 4.

A Letter of Intent with NuCiti Capital Partners, a real estate development firm, was sent to the city for the purchase of 22 acres on the corner of SH 26 and John McCain Road. The intent is for NuCiti Capital Partners to purchase the land for $9.85 million to build a 120-room luxury resort-style hotel.

A pair of former SMU soccer players will be bringing a soccer facility to Grapevine.

During the joint meeting between the Grapevine City Council and Grapevine Planning and Zoning Commission on Sept. 16, both boards passed the conditional use permit request by Esteban Mariel and Manuel Mariel.

The Cowboys Golf Club plans to reopen in late October after a multimillion-dollar renovation.

Southlake City Council approves bank use, denies speakeasy plan in mixed-use development

A site plan change for The Overlook was approved, but only one of the two requests was passed at the Southlake City Council meeting Dec. 2. This request asked for a drive-thru for a bank and a speakeasy, creating a third-story addition to the office building.
