Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center will renovate its guest rooms this year, according to a state filing.

What's happening?

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows a filing was made for $54 million in guest room renovations with new paint, corridor carpet and wall and floor finishes.

An official with Gaylord Texan said there was no timetable set for discussing the renovations at the resort.

According to the state filing, the renovations will start May 30 and has completion date of June 2026.


The Gaylord Texan celebrated its 20th anniversary in Grapevine in April 2024.
