An 83-acre lot in southern Grapevine will soon become the site of a new warehouse.

Arco Murray National Construction Co. of Dallas applied for a conditional-use permit for property located at 3642 Euless-Grapevine Road to construct the first of four proposed buildings. The motion passed 6-1, with Place 2 Council Member Sharron Rogers voting against the measure, during the May 16 council meeting.

What you need to know: The plan is to build a 200,340-square-foot warehouse in what is Phase 1 on a 15.85-acre lot. A target start date is slated for September, and an estimated completion is set for July 2024. There will be 37 dock positions for tractor-trailer rigs, 119 parking spots and parking stalls for 49 tractor-trailer rigs, according to Chase Killingsworth, project manager at Arco. He said there are no tenants, yet, when asked by council on the first phase.

The specifics: There are plans to build three other buildings on the site, according to Killingsworth. They would all have similar use for storage or transportation.
