Tarrant County coronavirus case counts reached 1,430 on April 22. That includes 44 deaths and 259 recoveries.

There are now 40 Grapevine residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, an increase of 15 cases since April 20.

As of April 22, 17 Colleyville residents have tested positive, as have 22 Southlake residents, according to the county.

About 60% of coronavirus-related deaths in Tarrant County have been patients age 65 and older, according to the county.

Additionally, Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley modified the county’s stay-at-home order April 21 in order to “harmonize” local county and city stay-at-home orders with Gov. Greg Abbott's executive orders.

The current county order is not meant to restrict essential services as defined in Abbott’s executive orders, officials said. As the Texas Division of Emergency Management approves additional essential services, those services will be treated as essential business in Tarrant County, the order reads.
