Colleyville City Manager Jennifer Fadden has resigned, effective April 2, according to a news release from the city.
The Colleyville City Council accepted her resignation at its Dec. 20 regular meeting following a closed door executive session.
Fadden has held the city manager post since 2009.
The City Council will hire an executive search firm to find its next city manager, according to the news release.
“I am thankful for the opportunities that Colleyville has provided me, both professionally and personally,” Fadden said in the news release. “It has been a pleasure to work for the citizens of Colleyville for the last eight years.”
