Colleyville City Council meetings will begin at 7 p.m. starting Oct. 3, according to the city’s newsletter.

The time change will allow more time for council discussion, community participation and public comment, the newsletter stated. Previously, regular meetings could not begin before 7:30 p.m.

Council meetings are held every other Tuesday at city hall at 100 Main St. Council also live-streams its meetings online, and those can be watched here.

Notice of a meeting and its agenda items with background information must be posted at least 72 hours in advance, according to the Texas law. Meeting agendas and packets can also be found on the city’s website. Past meeting agendas, packets and minutes can also be found on the website.

Colleyville City Council's next regular meeting will be held Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.
