Colleyville residents now have access to 10,000 new online books.

Additional online materials will be available through the Colleyville Public Library with the online application Simply-E, according to the city’s Aug. 19 newsletter. The online collection will supplement the library’s current electronic book collection, and current cardholders will have access to the platform at no additional cost, the newsletter stated.

Simply-E, developed by the New York Public Library, offers a variety of adult fiction and nonfiction as well as e-books for children with ages ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade.

The program has a collection of books from university and small presses including the University of Texas Press, Texas A&M University Press and the Texas State Historical Association Press. The collection has over 1,700 titles with books covering topics on Texas history, geography, nature and more, the newsletter stated.

The library’s current e-collection is also available to cardholders at no cost.

A link to download the app can be found on the library’s webpage. Simply-E can be downloaded on iOS or Android devices.
